A gentle space to pause, breathe, and remember why you started.

For occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other rehabilitation professionals carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone.

A guided cohort to help you pause, recover, and rediscover a more sustainable way of living and working.

PracticeWell cohorts starting September 2026

You've felt it.

Staying twenty minutes later than you meant to because one more student needed you or one more note needed to be written. Running on the fumes of a lunch you didn't actually eat. Coming home and realizing you have nothing left—not for your own family, not for yourself.

You've felt it in the quieter moments too. The guilt that creeps in when you finally do sit down to rest, because somewhere along the way, rest started to feel like falling behind. You may even find yourself wondering if the only way to feel better is to leave the work you once loved.

You didn't choose this work because you wanted to feel this way. You chose it because you care deeply about the people in front of you.

But somewhere along the way

…you've spent so much energy holding everyone else together that it's become harder to hear yourself. Harder to remember what you need. Harder to see the landscape clearly.

That's what PracticeWell is here to offer—a gentle space to pause, reflect, reconnect with yourself, and begin finding your bearings again.

If your organization values employee wellbeing and reflective practice, I'd be happy to provide an information sheet that explains the purpose of the cohorts, what participants gain, and ways organizations may be able to support attendance through professional development funding or protected learning time.

With more than 25 years as an occupational therapist, I've spent my career walking alongside people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives. Somewhere along the way, I noticed something: many of the helpers—the ones holding everyone else together—were rarely given a place to be held themselves.

I lived it too.

For years, I thought feeling exhausted all the time was simply part of caring. Part of showing up. Part of being dedicated to my work and the people I loved.

I had adapted so gradually that I stopped questioning whether this was simply what life was supposed to feel like. There was a quiet part of me that sensed something wasn't right, but I couldn't quite name it. And when everyone around you is carrying on as if it's normal, it's easy to begin wondering if the problem is you.

Maybe if I just tried harder. Got more organized. Woke up earlier. Managed my time better...

What I needed wasn't another strategy or another thing to work harder at.

I needed space. I needed time.

A place where I didn't have to perform, solve, or hold everything together. A place—and the time—where my own experience had room to unfold.

As I found my bearings, my capacity slowly began to return. I could hear that quiet inner voice again. I could reflect more clearly, reconnect with what mattered, and begin discovering that another way of living and working was possible.

Looking back now, I realize it wasn't the advice or the answers that changed me. It was the conditions. The space my mentor created didn't tell me who to become. It created the conditions where something new could emerge.

That's what PracticeWell is built from.

Today, I bring together reflective practice, nervous system awareness, mindfulness, creativity, and more than two decades of experience supporting others through change. Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe that when people are given a gently held space, and the time, they begin finding their own bearings again.

I don't believe you need to be fixed.

I believe you deserve a place where your own experience has room to be seen, heard, and unfold.

Maybe you've been noticing some of this..

  • You feel a quiet resentment creeping in, toward a job you used to love

  • You've become so used to caring for others that you've slowly lost touch with yourself and what matters most to you.

  • You're exhausted in a way that a weekend off doesn't fix

  • You've been carrying so much for so long that it's started to feel normal.

  • You feel guilty even considering that you might time and support for yourself too.

If any of this feels familiar, you're not alone, and you're not failing. You may have been carrying more than anyone was meant to carry for this long.

You are welcome just as you are.

Who PracticeWell Is For

PracticeWell isn't therapy, and it isn't another item on your to-do list promising to fix you in a weekend.

You don't need another strategy to work harder at. You need space—space to recover, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. Real, lasting change doesn't happen all at once. It happens over time, in the right conditions.

That's why PracticeWell is a cohort rather than a one-time workshop.

Recovery takes time. Reflection takes time. Sustainable change takes time.

Healing and growth rarely happen in isolation. Being part of a supportive community reminds us that we're not alone, and creates the conditions where new ways of thinking, feeling, and participating can begin to take root.

Together, we'll cultivate the conditions where lasting change can emerge through repeated opportunities to pause, reflect, connect, and practice simple rhythms that support a more sustainable way of living and working—long after the cohort ends.

You deserve to give yourself the same care that you so often give to others.

A different way of living and working begins with one small pause at a time.

Your next season doesn't have to feel like this one. Whenever you're ready, I'd love to welcome you.

Reserve your spot and I'll be in touch with everything you want to know.
